Introduction To GSK Sensodyne Mug:

1. Bottle type: GSK Sensodyne mug with colourful lid and colourful straw (with lock); 2. Colour: Clear mug; 3. Capacity: 450-480ml; 4. Technic applied: Screen printing.

Mug Design:

This is a project assigned by a Global 500 company, GSK for one of their brand which is called Sensodyne. They would like to modify a ready stock mug into a customised mug. This is how a ready stock mug looks like:

They intended to screen print this logo onto the mug, Just like this:

Then, we have done it perfectly into this:

However, they want to package the mug with colourful lids, so we have to set it up for them.

Some caps are just colours only, but some are with cross. Also, the straw with lock are put aside in a carton box with partition. These are all requested by the client, and we have got it done for them. At the same time, the carton box has to be firm enough to hold the mugs, so it cannot be a low quality carton box. Therefore, we have to design the carton box and cooperate tightly with the box factory.

By the way, the client also required to put a sticker on every single mug. We have appointed 10 workers at the site to stick it for them, then pack it nicely into each carton box, and make sure all the straws with lock are nicely packed into plastic pack for hygiene purpose, and put them aside in the carton box.

Other than this, they would need some words and barcode to be printed on the carton box as well:

Finally, we have to ship all these mugs to their Thailand branch and we did it by ocean shipping. So, when we put it into the container, we have to strictly follow the Thailand custom requirement, in which every boxes have to be labelled.

Summary:

As you can see this is quite a lot of requirements, and we have completed and send out to them within a month. This is not a tough job, but lots of things need to be carried out at the same time. It has to be done step by step so that nothing to be missed out throughout the process.

When we were doing the screen printing, the carton box with words and stickers have to be produced at the same time. Not many suppliers can do it perfectly, and it proves that we are a very reliable supplier. Some people would seek for the lowest price, and it’s difficult as the glass bottle factory needs a MOQ (Minimum Order Quantiy) of 500,000pieces for single product in order to give you a very low price, which we believe that most of the companies cannot achieve this quantity for a single order. Then, what you need is a reliable supplier to get all your job done nicely. As you can see, this is not a job can be completed by glass bottle factory because they just produce glass bottle and they won’t care about your screen printing, box design, sticker matter and other hassle.
